Termination of employee from Grameen Telecom: Legal notice served to Dr Yunus

A legal notice has been served to Nobel laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus, chairman of Grameen Telecom, and its managing director Md Ashraful Hasan asking them to reinstate all the 90 employees who were recently terminated from their job.

Gobinda Biswas, a lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court, served the notice on behalf of the employees on Tuesday.

Earlier on October 25, Grameen Telecom issued an office order terminating all employees of the organisation.
